Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
This policy explains how Clone Crusher (the "app") handles information. It's written by the app's developer ("we", "us").
Information stored on your device
The app saves your game progress, settings, upgrade levels, and any custom crush sounds you add. This data is stored only on your device, inside the app. It is not sent to us. Deleting the app removes the copy on your device. Using Wipe save in the app's Settings removes your progress from your device and from iCloud.
iCloud sync
If you're signed in to iCloud, the app also saves a copy of your game progress (cash, upgrades, and settings, but not custom sounds) to your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud key-value storage. This lets your progress come back if you reinstall the app and carry over to other devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
This copy is stored by Apple in your iCloud account under Apple's Privacy Policy. We can't see or access it. To stop syncing, turn off iCloud for Clone Crusher in iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud, or sign out of iCloud.
Photos, camera, and microphone
If you tap Use my sound or video, iOS lets you pick a clip from your photo library or files, or record a new one. The app uses that clip only to pull out its audio and turn it into a custom crush sound. This all happens on your device. The clip and the sound are never uploaded. The app doesn't access your photos, camera, or microphone unless you start this yourself, and iOS asks for your permission first.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app offers optional rewarded ads in its Bonus menu: you choose to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game reward. Ads are never shown unless you tap Watch ad.
These ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them, and prevent fraud, Google's software in the app may collect information such as:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking (see below)
- Your IP address and the approximate location it suggests
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, and language
- How you interact with ads, such as whether an ad was viewed or tapped
- Diagnostic information, such as crash data from the ads software
Google handles this information under its own policies:
We don't receive personal information about you from Google. AdMob gives us only combined reports, such as how many ads were shown.
Tracking permission
The first time you open the app, iOS may ask whether Clone Crusher can track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you allow it, Google can use your advertising identifier to show ads that are more relevant to you. If you don't, ads still work but aren't personalized. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form before any ads load, so you can choose how your data is used for advertising. You can change your choice later with Ad privacy choices in the app's Settings.
What we don't do
- We don't require an account or ask for your name, email, or contact details.
- We don't run our own analytics or collect your personal information on our own servers.
- We don't sell your personal information.
Some US state laws treat sharing device data with ad networks for personalized advertising as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out by not allowing tracking (see above), which stops your advertising identifier from being used.
Children
Clone Crusher is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we'll help resolve it.
Data retention and your rights
Because we don't collect or store your personal information, there's nothing for us to keep, correct, or delete. Data collected by Google for advertising is kept and handled under Google's policies, and you can manage your Google ad settings at My Ad Center. If you have questions or want to exercise a privacy right, contact us below.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
